About me

I am a friendly, safe and professional therapist and a young person's counsellor and really enjoy working with teenagers in schools and privately. I worked for many years as an Anxiety UK-approved therapist, at Mind and Cambridge University. I also set up and run a counselling service in a girls secondary school for 7 years. â€‹

I have particular experience with:

·      Anxiety

·      Depression

·      Teenagers

·      Bereavement

·      Parenting

·      Self-esteem

·      Work issues, such as bullying and workloads

·      Mother-daughter issues.

I am fully insured, with an enhanced DBS certificate and recent safeguarding training, levels 1 and 2.

I see adults and teenagers in north London near Archway, Highgate, Muswell Hill, Hampstead, Finchley, Crouch End and Finsbury Park, and across the UK online via Zoom or by phone.

I am accredited by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and abide by the BACP's ethical guidelines. I am also trained in NHS-approved trauma therapy, EMDR (parts 1, 2 & 3).

I have been featured in the Guardian and written for Therapy Today magazine.

My Offerings

I offer short and open-ended counselling in north London, online over Zoom or by phone. Sessions are 50 minutes, with daytime and some early morning slots available to suit your needs.

My Mission

There are a lot of stereotypes about counselling and the types of people who go; my aim is to show you how it can be a life-changing and positive experience.
